There is a path at the top of the site, which leads to the beach, but access can be restricted when the tide is in. Three minutes down the road by car is Harlyn Sands beach, which is a lovely clean beach, which is good for body boarding and surfing. There is a surfing school situated here amd you can also hire boards and wetsuits from them. Lifegaurds man this beach and there is a section for surfers only. There is a food van in the car park, beside the beach, which cooks to order and we can thoroughly recommend it.
